DESIGNS ON DURSLEY

is a new and exciting campaign created by some of the local residents and businesses who feel that Dursley is a place to be proud of.  After years of sometimes negative press about our beautiful market town on the edge of the Cotswolds, we are fighting back.

And what is there not to be proud of? There is beautiful countryside, great local food producers, reputable schools and one of the best pubs in Britain!

Using the accumulative creative skills, talents and resources of local people and businesses, DESIGNS ON DURSLEY wants to bring out the best that Dursley & District has to offer.

With this new brand and enthusiasm, individuals, groups and businesses from across the area can get involved to improve Dursley & District.

Why not Designs on Dursley & Cam & Uley & North Nibley etc.  Well, in all honesty the name would be too long!  And we needed something catchy.  So whilst it's called 'Design on Dursley' it includes all the local towns and villages that make up Dursley & District.

The new campaign kicks off on July 11th with our annual Town Festival which this year will have a food theme with stalls and cooking demonstrations, a school’s art competition, a dedicated children’s area and local bands playing LIVE.

So if you are proud to live in Dursley & District then DESIGNS ON DURSLEY want to hear from you, to tell us of the reasons to be proud, any events that should be promoted through 'Designs on Dursley' or if you are a 'Supporter'the concept or one of the events, through contribution of either money or time/effort.
